Quomation respects the privacy of every
individual who visits our Web site, responds to our information
requests or sends us e-mail. Quomation is committed to protecting
your privacy in order to give you the best possible Internet
experience. Quomation has put into place this Privacy Policy
to protect your personally-identifiable information. This policy
covers Quomation and its employees and applies to information
Quomation obtains when a customer uses one of Quomation's services.
Personally-Identifiable Information
Privacy concerns center on information that can be associated
with a particular individual or entity. This information is
often referred to as "personally-identifiable information"
and includes, for example, such things as a customer's name,
address, telephone number or e-mail address. Information that
is readily available to the public will not be considered as
personally-identifiable information that is confidential in
nature.
Use of Personally Identifiable Information:
When you provide us with personally-identifiable information,
we may use that information in the following ways, unless stated
otherwise: First, we may store and process that information
to better understand customer needs and how we can improve our
products and services for customers. Second, we may use that
information to contact you with update announcements and new
promotions, and third, we may contact you if we have questions
about your account.
Disclosure: Quomation will not
sell to third parties any personally-identifiable information
obtained from the registration of a Quomation service nor will
Quomation disclose any personally-identifiable information without
the consent of the customer except as required by subpoena or
other legal process. Quomation may disclose personally-identifiable
information to business partners who assist Quomation in providing
service to you. When Quomation uses agents, contractors or other
companies to perform services on its behalf or in cooperation,
Quomation will require that they protect your personally-identifiable
information consistent with this Policy.
Non-Personally-Identifiable Data Usage
In some cases, we may collect information about you that is
not personally-identifiable. Examples of this type of information
include product usage, the type of software or the type of computer
operating system you are using. Similar to personally-identifiable
information, we will not sell specific non-personally-identifiable
information to third parties. However, Quomation uses this information
in the aggregate. Quomation may sell or share this aggregated
information with other parties from time to time, in reports
and for billing purposes.
E-mail
We will only send email or fax update announcements and promotions
to you if you have previously provided your email address or
fax number for us to do so. Although many customers tell us
they appreciate receiving notice of these carefully designed
promotions and announcements, we recognize the importance of
providing you with choices. At any time, you may unsubscribe
from our distribution list by contacting Quomation.
Security: Quomation has in place
security measures and policy guidelines to protect your customer
identifiable information from unauthorized access. All uploads
and input forms on Quomation.com utilize a Secure Socket Layer
(SSL) protocol to provide "secure sessions" for our
visitors. Through the "secure session," information
that you send to Quomation will be sent and will arrive privately
and unaltered at a Quomation server.
Updating Privacy Policy: From
time to time Quomation may update its website privacy policy,
when it does so, Quomation will post the updated policy on its
website and note the effective date of the new policy.
