Ivans Downloader Installation

If you have your "Y" account set up for Ivans messages, you can import them into Powermanage with the Transfer Manager.

To install transfer manager, click on this link:

If the file does not automatically downoad and you see a yellow warning bar near the top of the page, click on the yellow warning bar, then click 'Download File'

Choose run when prompted.

Click the Run button again if prompted, then complete the installation by clicking on the buttons as indicated below.

Once the installation has finished, we just have to set up the transfer manager to import the Ivans messages into Powermanage. Start the transfer manager by clicking on Start>> All Programs >> Transfer Manager.NET ( your start menu may be slightly different )

The transfer manager window will open, and look very plain. Don't worry, this is normal.

Click on Configuration, then support mode.

Then click on Configuration, then Site Settings

In the site settings, change both of the values to end with 'internet' as shown, then click OK. Be sure these are NOT set to 'private'.

Then click Configuration and Mailboxes.

Then click Add.

Enter the Y account and ID you were given, as shown below, and choose 'Ivans Esc Internet' and 'Online', then click OK. Your Y account always starts with a 'Y', and your ID always starts with YX.

Click Add again to add another account.

Add your Y account and ID again, set the location to Information Exchange Internet and select: Online, and click OK.

Click OK on the next two screens: the mailbox and Transfer Manager screen, and that's it for the Transfer Manager set up.

Next, open Powermanage. Click on Tools, then Ivans.

In the IVANS window you can set to run your transfers at a set time by checking the box on the top, and choosing a time. Powermanage has to be open at this time to be able to do the imports.

On the IVANS import page, first click the 'Launch IVANS Import Manager' button to start the download.

The download window below will close automatically once the download is complete. Then click the "Import IVANS Data' button to import it into Powermanage. Oncve imported, click close.

That's it! Now just be sure to tell any companies you want to get IVANS messages from, what your Ivans ID is.
