Installation Directions - Powerquote Software

(These directions will show the installation for Powerquote Utah, you will install the version for your particular state)

The initial installation consists of 3 steps: Installing the full version of the software, installing the ActiveX Control pad, and installing the most recent update. All of the files are downloaded from our site at www.quomation.com. You will need your Quomation username and password to continue.


First, open a web browser and go to www.quomation.com, then click the agent login link at the top of the page:

Enter your assigned user name and password, then click submit to sign in.

Click on the Downloads link at the top right of the agent page.

Scroll down to the link "PowerQuote Utah (or your state) Full Install, then click that link.

Choose run to start the download, then choose run again if you are prompted.

Choose "Yes" when asked to install the program

The installation process will then continue, and show the following status window.

Once the full version install is done, it will download the last update in the background. If you see this window, click OK. You will then be prompted to install the Active control pad.

Click OK to the ActiveX Control pad setup window, to start the Active X control pad installation. This needs to be completed prior to opening the Powerquote Program.

You will see the update confirmaiton window just after the full installation. It may come up at the same time as the ActiveX control pad installation process, so just go ahead and click OK so it downloads the most recent update while you are installing the ActiveX control pad.

Click run when prompted to save the file.

Click continue on the Active control pad setup window when prompted.

Click the big button on the ActiveX setup screen.

Make sure these are the chosen options, then click continue.

Once completed, click the OK button when prompted.

You will then get a confirmation to install the update that looks like this, click run.

Once the update has installed, it will open the Powerquote program automatically!

The installation will also place the following icon on your desktop.
